NABAKEM SS-COAT 909AL, a natural drying, single liquid type aluminum coating agent composed with 99% pure aluminum and Epoxyester resin, is commonly used for steel corrosion protection and welding primer applications. While it has been quite well known from old days, that the aluminum coating is highly reliable for corrosion protection of steel materials, use of NABAKEM SS-COAT 909AL holding the features of common corrosion protection and electric corrosion protection together will be able to greatly enhance the corrosion protective effect particularly when the objects to be protected have large sizes and complicated shapes causing difficulties in conducting the aluminum coating works.

※ In order to maximize the corrosion protection effect, coat with thick film by applying coatings repeatedly several times (repeat coating after drying). Corrosion protection effect will be sustainable for 1~2 years depending on the coating environment.

• Radiator, Steam Pipes, Fire Hydrants, Exhausts, Mufflers, Parking Meters, Wire  Fences, Boilers, Water Lines, Grills, Lockers, Heat Exchangers, Ovens, Tanks, Chemical Processing and Production Equipment, Auto and Truck Body, Tools, and Weldments.

• Steel and structure anti-rust (bridge, a steel-barred window, iron railing, vehicle, carriage, container, a refrigerator car, an agricultural machine, shipping machine, civil engineering machinery, all of the tank, vessel, pipe etc.)

• Aluminum gilt and Metalicone’s repair or replacement

• Welding primer of all of the steel

• Replace of Aluminum gilt, Repair gilt of damage area of plate

• Top coating such as Aluminum gilt

Pretreatment

Completely remove all the rusts, black oxide layers & other foreign substances residing on steel surface with Sand Blast, Shot Blast or Acid Pickling. As well, thoroughly dry and remove greases as the oil, dust & moisture stuck on surface may result in poor adhesion of coating agent.

Coating Method

Shake well for about 1 minute prior to spraying. Evenly apply spraying over surfaces to be coated. Spray keeping the distance about 30cm away from surface for better coating result. Repeated spraying with thin coating layers provides better coating result than single coating with thick film.

• Make sure to shake well prior to use.

• Keep on occasionally shaking during the coating of long time period as the active components of product may be precipitated.

• Do not apply directly on the areas subject to acidic or alkaline ambient condition or wet with acidic liquids. (Apply primer coat with chemical resistant paint first with such condition.)

• Refrain using for long period of time at the places subject to continuous soaking under the hot water.(Over 40℃)

• With the presence of heating process or facility, the product can be used as a bake hardening primer by applying heat with 100℃ over 20 minutes.

• When storing the Aerosol Can for long period of time after partially consuming the coating, make sure in order not to have the spray nozzle clogged up by spraying until no liquid flow out placing the Can upside down.

• Make sure to comply with below cautionary items as the coating agent is a hazardous, flammable product using high pressure gas.

– Never use the product toward fire flames.

– Do not use the product around fire flames such as heating stove, cooking stove & etc.

– Do not use inside rooms using the heat of fire.

– Do not store at the places subject to over 40℃ temperature.

– Make sure to ventilate after using the product inside the closed room.

– Do not put or throw into fire.

– Make sure to put a hole on empty can after use in order to completely dispose the residual gas.

– Do not store within enclosed places.

– Spraying may not be well performed under the temperature below 5℃.
